The Carron Valley currently has 2 very exciting developments going on which are attracting major funding to build and maintain 2 major attractions.

Duncarron Fort :-  A mediaeval fort which is being built into the hillside near the Carron Valley Dam and is set to become a major tourist and educational facility showing what life was like in this area in mediaeval times. It will feature real people in costume living life as it would have been lived at that time.

Carron Valley Development Company :-  This company has received funding to build various level mountain bike tracks through the Carron Valley Forest. The levels will range from family orientated tracks to the real humdingers for those who like a degree of difficulty.
