Walled Garden

A photographic celebration  of this exquisite, south-facing, award-winning garden, situated just above Colzium House at around 500ft above sea level in Central Scotland. The garden brings together a unique collection of plants, shrubs and trees from all over the world, which appear to thrive in this spot, sheltered by the high brick walls of the former kitchen garden.

Lade

The Lade was built to feed water to Banton Loch which itself was built as a feeder for the Forth and Clyde Canal and is still used as such to this day. It runs from the Garrell Burn at Garrell Mill to the Loch on the Eastern edge of the Estate and makes for a very pleasant stroll.
